Pete Hamm was born in Vineland, Ontario, in November 1964.

Pete started riding speedway late in life, and was introduced to it through the wonderful bond of riders at the Paris track.

In his bio, he wrote that he enjoyed the smells and spills and adrenaline associated with this wonderful sport. The friendships and support of all riders at all levels was amazing. The track staff, scorers,announcers, and sponsors really made for a very positive and enjoyable time.

Pete rode at many tracks including Paris, Welland, Indianapolis, Indiana and Quebec.

He was for many years, a regular and popular rider at all the events at the Paris and Welland tracks.

The highlight of his racing career was that he took trip to Indiana and Indianapolis, were he won the Division 2 title!

Since retiring from racing, Pete has very successfully become a business owner..
